Localisation

Despite the term localisation sometimes leading to confusion, to localise (regionalising or even globalising, although these aren’t quite the same) is to adapt a product, generally a website or a computer or software programme, for it to present the aspect and operation of an article manufactured specifically for a certain country.

At ALPHA TRANSLATIONS we collaborate with our clients in localisation tasks in the most loyal manner possible to the uses and customs of the target countries, not only respecting the language rules but also the technical-scientific   writing standards, social customs and however many aspects to be taken into account in order for the user of the product to feel culturally identified with the product.

At ALPHA TRANSLATIONS we work with all the official languages within the European Union and Spain: German, Bulgarian, Catalonian, Czech, Croatian, Danish, Slovak, Slovene, Spanish (Castilian and Latin American variants), Estonian, Basque, Finnish, French, Galician, Greek, Hungarian, English, Irish, Italian, Latvian, Lithuanian, Maltese, Dutch, Polish, Portuguese, Rumanian and Swedish. In addition to the above mentioned languages we also work with Russian, Chinese, Japanese and Arabic, which means that at ALPHA TRANSLATIONS we are trained to translate from among more than 30 languages, as well as their possible language variants.

As well as the localisation service, at ALPHA TRANSLATIONS you may also procure services involving translation, interpretation, transcription, style correction and subtitling.
