Simultaneous interpretation

Simultaneous interpretation is the interpretation modality which takes place at the same time as the speaker provides his lecture. While the speaker is talking, the interpreter translates the discourse and the auditorium listens to it simultaneously, with a delay of only a few seconds. This interpretation modality favours the issuing of the message as well as allowing for it to be followed, as there are no interruptions in the message.

Of the four modalities, simultaneous interpretation is the most convenient and immediate, involving the use of technical elements (interpretation booth, two-way audio communication with headphones) and, for each language pair, the presence of two interpreters who take turns every 30 minutes. This is ideal for congresses, conferences, talks, presentations, speeches, seminars… any event in which two or more speakers provide their discourses to an auditorium comprised of just a few people or several hundred attendees.

At ALPHA TRANSLATIONS we offer a simultaneous interpretation service, providing you with native and specialised interpreters, capable of using the technical terminology inherent to fields such as economic, legal, technological and scientific, among others. We also provide you with the necessary technical equipment, which our personnel will install and control during the entire event, whether in Spain, in the European Union or in any of the main countries around the world.

As a specialised company with many years of experience in the field of simultaneous interpretation, we offer a high quality, precise service, which guarantees the success of your event or meeting, with a high price/quality ratio and in a completely confidential and discrete manner.

As well as the simultaneous interpretation service, at ALPHA TRANSLATIONS you may also procure services involving consecutive, whispered and liaison interpretation, translation, localisation, transcription, style correction and subtitling.
